ASUS Introduces Intel Wireless Display Tech and USB 3.0 Clad U53JC Bamboo Laptop

The new ASUS U53JC Bamboo is going to feature something very new to the laptop world. The laptop comes with USB 3.0 and Intel Wireless Display Technology. The technology offers just what it’s name implies, the Wireless Display Tech from Intel allows you to share content wirelessly with on your TV.
The ASUS U53JC is a member of the Bamboo series from ASUS so you will get the cool looking Bamboo layer on the case and palmrest. Other than the Bamboo the laptop will feature a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display (1366×768 pixels), a Intel Core i5-450M processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 4x Blu-Ray combo drive and a Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card with 1GB of dedicated graphics memory.
Ports and other features for the U53JC Bamboo edition laptop include a 5-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi, SRS Premium Surround Sound speakers, the Express Gate instant-on OS, and an 8-cell battery. The ASUS laptops measures in at 386 x 259 x 34 mm and weights 2.8 kg.
The ASUS U53JC Bamboo laptop comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium and will cost €999.
