Best Buy and Toshiba Are Targeting Your Children

Toshiba and Best Buy have very strong relations and have worked on exclusive laptops before. Now the two have announced they will be adding a new laptop that is “dedicated for the kids”. The Toshiba Satellite L635 Kids’ PC features a 13.3″ screen and a unique case design, see the pictures on this page.
Some features for the new Toshiba Satellite laptop include a 13.3-inch diagonal HD display, Intel Celeron P4600 processor, a built-in DVD drive and Webcam with software designed specially with a younger user in mind. There will be various games pre-loaded including Lego Batman as well as NetNanny parental controls for safe internet surfing. The design is also geared to favor the younger user with a no-gloss Dura-cross textured finish that helps resist fingerprints as well as a wipe-able keyboard.
The Toshiba Satellite L635 will be sold exclusively at Best Buy retail stores in September 26, 2010 for the price of $499.
