Sony Announces Multiple Updates Coming For VAIO Laptops

Sony Vaio E Series Laptop WhiteSony has announced some changes to some of their most popular VAIO laptops. The changes are for the better and can be seen in the processor selection and for some in the graphics cards available. The models affected include the VAIO F series, VAIO EB, VAIO EA and VAIO EC Series models.

The Sony VAIO EB (15.5″ Laptop) and the Sony VAIO EC (17.3″ Laptop) are both getting new Full HD display options which will be great for productivity as well as entertainment. The Sony VAIO EA (14″ Laptop) and the VAIO EB are both getting the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB graphics card as an option. All three of these VAIO E Series laptops will get Intel Core i5-460M, Intel Core i5-580M, and a Intel Pentium processor.

The Sony VAIO F Series will be getting a Nvidia GeForce GT 425M 1GB graphics card added as an option. The laptops will also get a USB 3.0 port, which offers much faster transfer speeds than the aging USB 2.0 standard.
