Fresh Dell Inspiron 15R Premium Alloy Edition Laptop Unveiled

Dell has just created a product page for an interesting Inspiron R laptop. The Dell Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition is the full name for the new laptop added. The laptops features a premium aluminum finish with a laser-etched Alloy Waves design and matching palm rest.
The Dell Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition will feature a 15.6-inch Widescreen HD (1366 x 768) WLED Glossy Display with TrueLife technology. The premium laptops will also feature options for either a Intel Pentium, Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processor. You will also be able to upgrade to the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB GPU. The Dell laptop can be configured with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 750GB storage space.
Other features included with the 15R Alloy Edition include SRS Premium Sound (2 speakers 2W each), a built-in mic, 1.3MP integrated webcam, Wi-Fi, LAN,optional WiMAX, optional bluetooth, (3) USB 2.0 ports, (1) eSATA/USB 2.0, HDMI, VGA, 7-in-1 media card reader, DVD+/-RW optical drive with options for a Blu-ray player CD/DVD burner.
The Dell Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition laptop will be delivered with Windows 7. Right now Dell hasn’t made the new 15R available for custom order and they have stated when they plan on it either. [Dell]

these are extremely rare but do show the fanciest laptop in the range. i personally don’t think its worth the premium though. i generally only buy for technical specifications.
