Samsung Galaxy Tab Release Plans For Sprint Nextel Unveiled

Samsung Galaxy Tab At SprintThe Sprint Nextel telecom company has just announced their release plans for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab was announced in the U.S. back in September in New York. The Galaxy Tab comes in two versions a Wi-Fi only version and a 3G + Wi-Fi version. Sprint will offer the 3G+Wi-Fi model in Black for $400 with a two-year service agreement.

Sprint will have two service packages for the Android 2.2 Samsung Galaxy Tab. The first of which will cost you $29.99 per month and supply your tablet with 2GB of data per month. The other more expensive plan gives your tablet 5GB of data for $59.99 per month.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab features a 7-inch (1024 x 600) touchscreen, a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor with PowerVR SGX540 graphics, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of built-in storage, a microSD slot, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera, a 3MP camera (720p-capable) with LED Flash and auto-focus at the back, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11n Wi-Fi and 3G support, as well as a 4,000 mAh battery.
