Gigabyte Announces A New 15.6″ Entry-Level Laptop

Gigabyte has announced a new notebook computer for the entry-level consumer. The Gigabyte E1500 laptop will come with a 15.6″ HD (1366 x 768) LED back-lit display and Windows 7 Home Premium. At this time Gigabyte hasn’t stated how much the E1500 will cost, but by looking at the specifications we can predict a starting price around $500.
The laptop is based around a Intel Pentium processor and use Intel GMA 4500M integrated graphics. The E1500 comes with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM and either a 250GB/320GB/500GB hard drive. Other features include; a DVD writer, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, and a 4-cell battery. [Via]
