Lenovo IdeaPad U260 Launching In A Few Days, Starts Under $900

Lenovo IdeaPad U260 KeyboardThis past week news on a Lenovo ultra-portable laptop was leaked, but the details released were very minor. Lenovo has decided to just go ahead and release an official press release detailing the ultra-portable. Lenovo IdeaPad U260 is the official name of the laptop, Lenovo say’s the laptop will be available in the US on Monday Nov. 15 for a starting price of $899.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U260 features a magnesium-aluminum alloy cover and a leather-patterned palm rest. The laptop measures at it’s thinnest point just 0.71-inches and the IdeaPad U260 weights under three pounds. Lenovo also mentioned in their press release that you will have the option of having a glass touchpad on your U260.

Lenovo also stated the IdeaPad U260 would feature the following technologies; multiple ambient light sensors, a spill resistant keyboard that has chiclet styled keys and a new Intel cooling system below the keyboard that helps keep the laptop cool.

As for the internal specifications the IdeaPad U260 comes with the following; a 12.5-inch display, a Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, Intel integrated graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of storage, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, D-Sub, HDMI out, a 4-cell battery (up to 4 hours) and Windows 7 Home Premium.
