HP Laptops That AMD’s New Llano APUs Are Destined For Detailed

HP ProBook 6465bAdvanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced their new Llano A-Series APUs today. Almost at the same exact time that AMD was unveiling their new chips for desktops and laptops Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Toshiba announced systems they will release with the new APUs. We already discussed the new Toshiba Satellite laptops announced today and now it’s time to talk about HP’s offerings.

All of the laptops HP announced aren’t new like Toshiba, the new models are for the ProBook b and s Series. Other than the new ProBook notebooks the Pavilion models are just upgrades/refreshes. The number of refreshed models add-up to seven and include Pavilion and ProBook laptops. Scroll down to see the updated HP laptops and their release dates and start prices.

  • The HP Pavilion dv6 starts at $599.99 and the Pavilion dv7 starts at $699.99. The Pavilion dv6 and dv7 are expected to be available in July.
  • The HP Pavilion g4 starts at $449.99, the Pavilion g6 starts at $498 and the Pavilion g7 starts at $499. The HP Pavilion g-series is expected to be available in July.
  • The HP ProBook b-series (ProBook 6465b and ProBook 6565b) starts at $679. The HP ProBook b-series is expected to be available on June 27.
  • The HP ProBook s-series (ProBook 4535s, 4435s and 4436s) starts at $519 and is expected to be available on June 27.
