Lenovo IdeaPad U260 Ultra-Portable Laptop Put On Sale, Save Up To $206

As Lenovo’s first attack on the Apple Macbook Air the thin and light IdeaPad U260 range had a lot riding on it. The U260′s like the 2010 Macbook Air feature an all/mostly metal construct which gives no access to the battery, but makes the systems look more sleek and stylish. Lenovo managed to beat out the Macbook Air with internal hardware but the U260′s never managed to beat the Air in battery life (~4 hours vs. ~7 hours).
The IdeaPad U260 range was a nice start and in the future (2012 most likely) the IdeaPad U Series of laptops will improve. However for now the U260 is still a good 12.5-inch portable laptop that is priced affordably. At the moment some U260′s are available with special discounts on Amazon.com.
