HP Pavilion dv6z Quad Edition Laptop Released With AMD Llano APUs, $649.99 For Quad Core

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has successfully begun shipping their new revolutionary Llano Accelerated Processing Units (APUs). Hewlett-Packard (HP) has begun offering a new AMD Llano Quad Core laptop aptly named HP Pavilion dv6z Quad Edition series.
The new dv6z is all AMD inside and it starts at the affordable price of just $649.99, yes you can get a quad-core 15.6-inch laptop for that low price thanks to AMD’s affordable APUs.
Hold-on now you might not know just what an APU is, so if you don’t it’s basically a processor a DirectX 11 integrated graphics processor all on one chip. The APU is a real engineering feat that provides performance and power efficiency all at the same time, and not to mention the low price.
To get back to the new laptop, though. It’s just like all of HP’s other notebook computers, the HP Pavilion dv6z Quad Edition series laptop is very customizable. I hope we can find these laptops in retail outlets?
Last year, Intel was caught bribing manufacturers BILLIONS of dollars to not make AMD products. For example, Dell was secretly paid 6-billion dollars to not make any AMD computers!
Intel also paid HP to make no more than 5% of their computers using AMD processors – and to make only low end computers with AMD chips!
European antitrust folks raided MediaMarkt’s offices and discovered that the largest European retailer was getting bribed not to stock AMD computers!
So… These laptops look pretty cool, but I am doubtful that we’ll see these in stores:(
