If you want to see a fully featured laptop look no further than the new LG A530. The new A530 is the latest laptop from LG Electronics and it has the latest CPU’s, GPU’s and RAM; and the 3D version of the 15.6-inch laptop boasts a full HD 3D display and a 3D dual lens webcam.
LG will be selling the A530 in 3D and non-3D versions but the 3D model is what separates the A530 from the other 15.6-inch laptops out there at the moment.
You see the 3D display (stereoscopic) on the 3D model has a special coating technology applied to it called Film Patterned Retarder technology, a proprietary LG technology, that “produces brighter 3D images that are entirely free of flicker”. Also the 3D display boasts a native resolution of 1920-by-1080 pixels or as it’s most commonly known full HD, the non-3D model has a 1600-by-900 HD+ resolution screen.
To cap off this 3D AH530 the engineers at LG have also worked in a 3D webcam with dual lenses that can capture 3D content for enjoyment on the laptops high-definition 3D screen, the LG folks also included a SRS Wide 3D Sound system that provides a “truly immersive audio [experience]“.
The other specifications that will be supplied with the LG A530, 3D or non-3D, are pretty much standard specifications for a premium entertainment laptop. The only feature that comes with the A530 that really stands out to me (other than 3D stuff) is the built-in SSD (flash memory based storage). The SSD is integrated into the laptop and works with the included HDD (hard disk drive) to speed up the A530′s boot-up and shutdown speeds.
LG plans to ship the new A530 to consumers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa this month, and release should expand to further locations after.
